Nanight Tech 2 dive light

Product description

The Nanight Tech 2 is the latest edition in the Tech series. Designed for more advanced diving or outdoor activities where powerful light and a long burn time is needed.

With interchangeable lenses and multiple mounts the light can be used as:

Tight spotlight in murky water (10° lens)
Floodlight in clear water, coral reefs, caves (35°-55° lens)
Video light (120° without lens)

The light is equipped with simple reliable magnetic switch without any complicated mechanics, that will sustain years of use in salt water.

The Nanight Tech is equipped with a Charge Port, with an bayonette mount cap makes charging a breeze. The charge port connector is completely waterproof, even without the cap.

Mooie lamp met een instelbare hoeveelheid licht. Tot nu toe meerdere prettige duiken mee gemaakt.
Overwegend pluspunten maar toch even een paar minpunten op rij:
- de band om de accu aan je set vast te maken, is na 3 duiken kapot gegaan (wel voorzichtig mee gedaan), nu om een losse loodgordelriem;
- de kabel tussen lamp en accu is erg dun, dit is tot nu toe geen probleem gebleken maar het voelt wel heel kwetsbaar;
- de Pro-set heeft net even wat andere grepen en een iets beter bedienbare knop, deze wordt echter alleen via de fabrikant geleverd voor een aanzienlijk hoger bedrag, ik vind dat deze 'extra's' gewoon bij de normale lamp zouden moeten zitten;
- de aan/uit/dim schakelaar is dus met de Pro-set een stuk groter: die op mijn lamp kan net wat handiger;
- de plaats waar je de accu in de (mooie) verpakking kunt opbergen past net niet vanwege het bevestigingsmechanisme om de accu.

Practical light
Maximum and 75% mode are very good at daylight
25% and 50% mode are sufficient for night diving
Spot is nice and equal.
