The Avanti Quattro + diving fins exceed the established performance of the traditional model thanks to the use of new materials that optimise efficiency. Increased responsiveness and thrust power with an even more attractive look and a standard Bungee Strap. The proven Channel Thrust technology makes the fin versatile and perfect in all diving conditions. The stabilising drifts improve stability, eliminating ankle torsion. The anatomical foot pocket transmits more power to the blade.
The Avanti Quattro + diving fins have a blade length that varies from 37 to 39 cm depending on the size. The fins have an open foot pocket. The four ribs design allows the fins to arch during the fin stroke. The water is then channelled in the opposite direction of motion, minimising pressure loss at the side edges of the fin. Muscle power is thus transformed into propulsive thrust.
A new composition of the material used in the Avanti Quattro+ allows the fins to absorb energy even more easily, which is then transmitted in a better and optimised way.
The special channel thrust system creates a channel geometry that can move more water and create more thrust with the same amount of effort. The result is an ultra-high performance fin designed for the most demanding divers.
The newly designed foot pocket has large perforations (which prevent the so-called "parachute effect") and the joints at the junction with the blade absorb kinetic energy. The blade with its extremely wide central flap ensures a strong channelling effect in accordance with the Superchannel principle.
Available in sizes S to XL, the new fins come in six colours: yellow, blue, black, white, lime and flamingo.

Channel Thrust
Soft longitudinal inserts allow a controlled deformation of the fin blade while kicking. This channel shape moves a greater amount of water resulting in more thrust for the same effort.

Ik heb deze vinnen gekocht omdat advanced vintechnieken met mijn huidige split vinnen moeilijk, zelfs bijna onmogelijk zijn.
Met de Mares Avanti Quattro+ vinnen is het kinderspel en kan je alle kanten uit. De perfecte vin voor recreatief duiken en om mee te nemen op duikvakantie.
Na jaren gebruik te hebben gemaakt van de voorganger van deze Mares Avanti Quattro (zonder + dus) ben ik nu overgestapt naar deze nieuwe versie. Een verbeterde instap door een extra duiklaars houder én uiteraard de super handige rubberen strap waardoor het in en uitstappen nog eenvoudiger en sneller gaat. Ze blijven uitstekend aan je laarsjes "kleven" en dragen fijn.
Prima duikvinnen dus!
Na verlies van een vin van dit type na 15 jaar een nieuw paar gekocht.
Geen bullshit features zoals veel vinnen hebben, met gaten, scheuren of vouwmechanismen. Alleen het "tunnel" mechanisme, het hol worden van de bladen tijdens zwemmen werkt! Uit de natuur afgekeken, zoals de zwemvliezen tussen de tenen van veel beesten.

I tested this model of fins last year in the Red Sea (Egypt). They have enough power, of course, less than technical fins. At the same time they are not as heavy as technical fins. This is a very good combination for a plane trip. That's why I bought avanti quattro. The price is very good. I can not believe. They are produced in Bulgaria, and here they cost EUR 125.
