New combination watch to celebrate the PROMASTER brand’s 35th anniversary
To celebrate this anniversary, this combination watch model JV1005-02W with a new caliber U822 was launched to highlight this milestone. The display has been upgraded from segment LCD to a Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) display. This new technology offers a higher resolution for better visibility and opens up new possibilities for displaying more information.
Other functional upgrades include the ability to set multiple alarms for different times on different days.
The dial features large, legible hands combined with Arabic numerals and bar indices.
The inner ring can be rotated using the crown at the 8 o’clock position to use the watch as a compass.

A proper watch, a perpetual motion machine, only light is needed. Works probably 20+ years. A practical hobby-hiker’s watch. Two things I don’t like, the red backlight at night ,it’s eye-friendly but harder to read. The strap is fine for a 20 cm wrist circumference, but at 22 cm it’s a bit short.
9/10 – solid aesthetically, useful functionally, and perfect as an everyday watch. Very good readability, very good lume. 200m WR.
Some consider it a downside that it’s not radio-controlled, but why would it need to be? The watch is off by about 3 minutes per YEAR, which is just 3 minutes over the whole year. You adjust for daylight saving time changes anyway, so you’ll set the watch right twice a year. Radio-controlled is an overhyped feature on an already accurate quartz watch.
