The high-quality liquid filled Suunto SK-8 has set a new standard for dive compasses. The device features 2-3 times larger tilt potential than in conventional diving compasses and provides easy-to-read numerals.
The superior SK-8 has an exceptional tilt potential of +/-30 degrees, which is 2-3 times larger than in conventional diving compasses. The firm-grip bezel with a ratchet at every fifth degree is especially designed to prevent sand and dirt contamination, thus allowing smooth turning in all conditions. The compass is available as wrist, console and hose-mounted models.
The SK-8 can also be fitted on the Suunto Cobra dive computer. It has easy-to-read numerals on a phosphorescent compass card and a large side-reading window.
By adding different Suunto Combo consoles to the SK-8 compass, you can create a personal console accorging to your specific needs. For example, CB-double can be made by adding the SK-8/DS compass to the reverse side of the CB-One. Or you can configure your CB-one console to a CB-Two by adding an SK-8 compass on top. If you add the SK-8/DS compass on to the reverse side of the CB-Two In Line, you got a CB-Double in Line. And CB-Three In Line console is made by adding a SK-8 compass on top of a Two In Line console.

Snelle levering.
Prima kompas. Rustig draaiende roos en duidelijke markeringen. Makkelijk navigeren onder water met dit product. Het enige wat ik niet leuk vind is de sluiting van het bandje. Ik sta elke keer weer te klungelen om het aan en uit te krijgen. Maar als het eenmaal vastzit komt ie niet vanzelf los, dat dan weer wel...
Omdat mijn digitale kompas niet voldeed, ben ik overgestapt op dit 'topmodel' kompas SK8 van Suunto. Wat een verademing! Ik heb de SK8 gekocht met een retractor, die ervoor zorgt dat het kompas altijd binnen bereik is en op de meest ideale manier voor mij gehouden kan worden. Door de hoek die de retractor met het kompas maakt staat het kompas altijd mooi horizontaal. De roos is heerlijk rustig en goed af te lezen.
De laagste prijsgarantie was ook perfect. Ik had de combinatie van de SK8 + retractor op een andere site goedkoper gezien dan hier bij Lucas Divestore. Na dit te hebben aangegeven kreeg ik zonder problemen een korting, zodat ze inderdaad de laagste prijs hanteerden.
Zowel het product als de service is super, dus 5 visjes!
