This helps prevent ice buildup inside the Octo, especially during high breathing demand – such as during emergency use. The large purge button is easy to locate and operate when needed. The adjustable Venturi lets divers fine-tune airflow, reducing free-flows at the surface and during dives. Radial pressure openings evenly distribute water pressure across the diaphragm, further minimising the risk of free-flows and ensuring the Octo delivers air only when needed, even in strong currents.
