Whether you’re shooting with the SeaLife DC2000 or another camera with a built-in flash, this new Duo Light and Flash set (SL690) is the perfect lighting system. The set combines the new Sea Dragon 3000 Auto for shooting video, and when shooting stills, it senses your flash and shuts off momentarily to give you a brilliant and shadow-free image.
The perfect match
The Sea Dragon Duo 3000 Flash underwater lighting set includes the Sea Dragon 3000F Auto Photo/Video Light, Sea Dragon Flash, Flex-Connect Dual Tray and Grips – providing versatility for shooting colorful photos or videos. The best still images are shot with a Flash, and the Sea Dragon strobe auto-learns your camera’s pre-flash instantly. The Duo 3000 Flash set also includes a Sea Dragon 3000F Auto, which offers Auto Flash Detect Mode – a feature that turns the 3000 lumen light off for one second while your flash is being fired and the camera is capturing a still image. Auto Flash Detect helps eliminate undesirable shadows, color shifts or backscatter. An additional feature of the 3000F Auto light is the Auto Bright Mode which automatically dims the light based on the proximity of the light and subject.
Get the best of both worlds
The Sea Dragon 3000F Auto light operates with only a single button, quickly adjusts between 3 power levels and an automatic with 10-step automatic brightness control, and has a wide 120-degree beam. The Sea Dragon Flash features manual and auto brightness adjustment, as well as large controls.
Easily expand with Flex-Connect accessories
Quickly and easily expand Sea Dragon lighting with Flex-Connect – add grips, Flex Arms, trays and other accessories with just a “click!” Flex-Connect allows you to transform your camera set from compact to full-featured in just seconds, providing a quick way to adjust to any dive environment.

*CRI is a measure of a light source’s ability to show object colors “realistically” or “naturally” compared to daylight, which has a CRI of 100 and represents the maximum value.
The beam angles for the Sea Dragon lights are shown as the true, tested “in-air” (above water) beam angle. Underwater, due to light refraction, the angle tightens to approximately 33% less.
Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time
The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140F (60C) degrees within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim the light if internal temperatures reaches 150F (65C) degrees. Immediately turn off light if any parts of the light become hot to the touch.
