Pilot watches are usually equipped with numerous functions – and are therefore large in diameter. These instrumental timepieces often have a diameter of 43 mm or more. CITIZEN is breaking this rule and is showing with the new PROMASTER SKY RC 41 that it's totally possible to have features such as 26 local times, a chronograph, a light-powered and radio-controlled Eco-Drive movement (Radio Controlled) and an internal slide rule bezel for flight-related calculations can be clearly and functionally integrated into a 41 mm case.

The new AT8304-57W model is radio-controlled and equipped with an internal slide rule bezel for calculating fuel consumption and tank capacity. These settings can be adjusted using a second crown at the 8 o'clock position. Inside, the in-house calibre H800 works, which can pick up radio signals from an atomic clock and keeps time down to the second.

Even when there is no signal, the accuracy is +/-15 seconds per month. This silver-coloured stainless steel case, measuring 41 mm in diameter and 11.62 mm in height, houses an analogue chronograph with extensive functions: 24-hour display, anti-magnetic, battery discharge indicator, perpetual calendar and stopwatch up to 60 minutes with 1/20-second accuracy.The radio clock synchronises worldwide (EUR, JPY, USA, China) and offers time zones for 26 cities as well as World Time. The anti-reflective sapphire glass protects the green dial with clear line indices. The solid stainless steel strap has a secure double push clasp. With water resistance up to 20 bar and a power reserve of 180 days, this watch is a great everyday partner – no need to change the battery.
