The Ultra scuba diving regulator is made of lightweight technopolymer and weighs only 192g. It incorporates a combination of technology, ensuring maximum breathing comfort. The 72X first stage is made in chrome-plated brass with a "pearl" finish. This process makes it highly resistant to abrasion, while offering a unique and elegant appearance. The Ultra second stage is ideal for both technical and recreational configurations.

72X First Stage

The 72X first stage is compact and incredibly robust. The body of the first stage is made in chrome-plated brass with a 'pearl' finish. There are eight low-pressure ports: four horizontal and four vertical. All eight are equipped with 'Natural DFC' for high airflow in all conditions. The configuration possibilities for technical and recreational diving are endless. The two high-pressure ports are pre-oriented for optimal use. The 72X first stage is equipped with Mares Auto-Sealing Technology (AST), which provides excellent protection against the intrusion of water or unwanted substances. A very simple mechanical solution keeps the internal mechanism dry and free from obstructions, thus offering superior reliability.

Ultra second stage

The innovative Twin Power System allows the diver to control the speed of airflow. A simple twist increases airflow when required. The Ultra second stage is pneumatically balanced and offers comfortable, effortless breathing in every situation. A Superflex hose connects the first stage to the second stage and provides support and flexibility for comfortable diving.

It meets and exceeds the requirements of the Norsok U-101 standard to a depth of 200 m.

TWIN POWER
New, flow control manages the delivery rate of your gas, from natural breathing to power breathing. The former is the traditional way of breathing a Mares regulator, (VAD) while the latter (VAD+) provides an extra push when you need it.

VAD - VORTEX ASSISTED DESIGN
The air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
